Heather at the grooming shop is a miracle worker. Took my rescue dog Chappie in to be groomed, and as usual I was worried because he's afraid of unfamiliar environments and being handled by strangers. I came to get him and he looked even more beautiful than usual, and surprisingly was not even a bit anxious after the experience for once. Heather was super gentle with him and gave him a great new cut. 10/10 for the staff here!
Couple of things wrong...
Nicest Petsmart Ive been to up here so far. Its a little bit pricey but the quality of the items is top notch at least what I have purchased. And they are very helpful with returns and exchanges .
When I told my cashier I didn’t have a phone number for a petperks card and the food wasn’t on sale anyways, he told me he would have to “override it if I didn’t want coupons”.. At the end of the transaction, there was a coupon on the top of my receipt. He then challenged my original comment and said “Oh, look, a coupon! Guess you have to retract that comment”.
Instead of educating me about the rewards program, he was trying to shame me. If a customer (or anyone) doesn’t want to share their personal info, you respect that and let it be. The fact that he he told me I should retract my original statement was baffling- trying to prove a customer wrong? Not a good look.
He was rude, condescending, and even though I just made an appointment with the vet (who were super helpful), I cancelled it. I will not be coming into this store again because of his unprofessional and outlandish conduct.
My daughter took her 5 month old mini schnauzer to get groomed. All she wanted were legs and face trimmed. At 4 hours, my daughter went to get her and the pup was not ready. After another hour, without PS calling her, my daughter checked back. They told her the little puppy had been ready, but they never called. She also had a note that grooming could not be complete, with no explanation. Her legs were fine, but face not touched. The puppy drank a huge bowl of water at home, apparently none had been given to her. My daughter ended up trimming her pup' s face on her own. Plus, they told her to save on the cost, she should buy their coupon book at check in, but when paying at the end they informed her the coupon for cuts was not on full groom. She argued her case, and they warranted it, but they did not even groom the puppy. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!
Cashiers immediately jumped on registers once lines formed, which was pleasantly surprising. That’s where the great service ended.
Additionally, there was no pet perks in the transaction, the coupon popped up based on the item I bought...and Unless the program has been updated in the past few years, it only gets you sale prices and a birthday treat for your pet. I worked there for 5 years....but I wouldn’t know since I wasn’t politely informed as to its benefits...
The manager here is terrible. I bought two bags of puppy food and both bags were full of bugs and spiders. I've never had this problem before so I did not keep my receipt. I went to inform the manager about it, I did not even ask for a refund or anything and he was rude and expected me to bring him the bags full of bugs to him. I am not putting bags of bugs in my car. I did not expect a refund because I did not have my receipt. He degraded me and was very disrespectful and rude. I spend to much money here for a manager like that to disrespect me. I had to contact corporate offices and they gave me store credit and apologized for their manager. Absolutely ridiculous.
